For the guests who stay with the Marcelloni family in the Agriturismo there is the ability to buy local produce directly at the source. It is possible to buy Local Products directly from the farm which has benefits in price as well as unquestionable freshness and purity.
The area of Cingoli is renowned for the quality of the Olive oil due to its unique flavour and aromas. The oil produced by the Agriturismo Fonte only goes to strengthen the reputation with its quality.
You will not only be well looked after during your stay but many of the farm produce is available to sample and savour. All the foods that are produced are done so in a time honoured tradition with a passion for quality and the greatest respect for the environment. The Agriturismo is surrounded by numerous fruit trees such as Apricot, Fig, Apple, Peaches and above all the amazing Cherry Trees which are used in the preparation of the produce.
The quality of the produce is also echoed in many of the meats and other delicacies available as cold cuts. As the Agriturismo raises its own poultry, pigs and goats in the open pastures, the produce has unique qualities and are still made using traditional recipes and methods handed down through the centuries.
Finally, through the same experience, the Agriturismo Fonte Pennici, also has a small vineyard. The vines are nurtured throughout the year to produce an excellent wine which is also available for sale to complement the other produce available.
The workshop
All the produce for Agriturismo Fonte Pennici mentioned above, is made in the workshop located next to the Agriturismo Magherita which has recently been expanded to meet the growing demand for the local quality produce. The workshop is fully equipped to create all the delicacies available and offers guests the ability to participate in the production process. By being involved you can observe and learn the process of making the traditional produce – an art and passion that has been passed down through the generations and still very much alive today.
